Can the government see my grow journal?

If the law requires it, we provide what we can read: a short list of account details. Your grow itself we can only provide as locked data we cannot open, because the key stays with you.

Canna GLAP is for adults growing where it is legal. Even when you follow every rule, have you ever stopped to think how much your grow records say about you? What you grow, how much, where and when. Most apps can read all of it, so most apps can hand all of it over. We built ours so we can't read it.

Does Canna GLAP follow the law?

Yes. When a valid legal order, such as a court order or a subpoena, requires information, we provide what we hold and can read. We do not decide which laws apply to you; you are responsible for knowing and following the laws where you live.

What could we provide?

The same short list a thief could see, because these are the things the app needs readable to run, bill and keep accounts safe:

The privacy policy lists every item we hold. Payment companies keep their own records: Stripe for website plans, and Apple or Google for plans bought in the app.

What about my grow itself?

Your plants, strains, feed logs, harvests, stock, photos, Cannie conversations and room sensor readings are locked on your phone before they reach us. End-to-end encrypted means only the person holding the key can read the data, and we do not hold the key. So the only form in which we have your grow, and the only form in which we could ever provide it, is that locked data. It is locked with AES-256, the same strength of encryption banks use.

Is there anything that is not locked?

Yes, and we want you to know it:
