They can read everything you log, because they hold the key. So can anyone who breaks in, or asks them with a court order.
Canna GLAP works the other way round. Your grow is encrypted on your phone, so we cannot read it, sell it, or hand it over. We never hold the key.
Truly private
Your plants, strains, feed logs, harvests, stock, photos and Cannie chats are encrypted on your phone before they’re stored. We keep them. We just can’t open them.
Your grow is scrambled with AES-256 on your device before it leaves. Photos have their location removed first.
Only those two can unlock your grow on a new phone. We store locked copies of your key, and never a way to open them.
Your grow records are locked before they leave your phone, so a breach or a legal demand finds only the little we can read, listed here. The flip side: lose both your passphrase and recovery phrase and your grow is gone, even to us.
A few things stay readable so the app can work: your account email, subscription status, your sensors’ names and timing, and your farm’s town for weather. The privacy policy lists all of it.

Set your own “best used by” date for a batch (there is no default, because every strain and grower is different) and get warned before it slips.
Connect Bluetooth, Govee or Vegetronix sensors for live temperature and humidity, alerts when a room drifts, and each stage’s VPD target on the plant card. Temperature and humidity readings are encrypted end to end too: only your farm team’s phones can read them.
Log pH and EC going in and running off, build a mix, and follow week-by-week charts for General Hydroponics Flora, Fox Farm and Jack’s 321.
Dry weight per plant, room and strain, yield per watt, and cost per gram, including the nutrients and supplies you drew from stock.

Fair questions
Right. Your plants, logs, photos, harvests, stock, Cannie history and room sensor readings are encrypted on your phone before upload, and we never hold the key. A few things stay readable so the app can work, such as your email, your subscription and your sensors' names. See exactly what.
Your 24 word recovery phrase opens your grow again. Lose both and nobody can recover it, including us. That is the trade for a journal we cannot open, so write the phrase down.
It is a paid intro: your first month for $0.99, and the money comes back if you ask before the month ends. After that your plan renews at its monthly price, $2.99 to $19.99 by plan, until you cancel.
