Truly private
Your plants, strains, feed logs, harvests, stock, photos and Cannie chats are encrypted on your phone before they’re stored. We keep them — we just can’t open them.
Your grow is scrambled with AES-256 on your device before it leaves. Photos have their location removed first.
Only those two can unlock your grow on a new phone. We store locked copies of your key — never a way to open them.
So does a subpoena. The flip side: lose both your passphrase and recovery phrase and your grow is gone — even to us.
A few things stay readable so the app can work: your account email, subscription status, sensor readings, and your farm’s town for weather. The privacy policy lists all of it.
